Women In Physics
Welcome to the homepage for Women In Physics. As in all things it is very important to network. We believe it is especially important to network within our field of physics where there are so few women. Women in Physics was created out of the brown-bag lunches in the hopes to create something of a group to provide social interaction, academic support and networking especially among undergraduate students.

This is a new, upcoming feature of the Women in Physics website. Any faculty member who has any interest in working with Undergraduates is encouraged to write a short description of their work that can be comprehended and create intrigue in even an underclassmen. Currently there are only a few entries, although we hope to add more in the next few weeks.

We still have a few tee-shirts for girls to pick up. Please contact Leslie Bubel if you need to pick up and/or pay for your shirt. ALSO: We will be making a second order for the spring semester. If you would like a shirt, shoot us an email. If you want to see what they look like, click here, or check out the photo below from the Grad school seminar!
We worked extra hard for Relay for Life and raised over $1000 for our team! Way to go!
The Women in Physics conference was absolutely amazing. Our university had the largest showing with 7 participants! We will be hosting the conference next year! Lots of work to do!
Thanks to everyone who came out for the coffee crawl. We definitely spent a lot of time drinking coffee and eating delicious sandwiches and desserts at Starbucks, Espresso, Paradiso and Moonstruck. We met some new faces too! Good luck on finals everyone, the coffee crawl was a great way to kick it off.
