Financial Aid
The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is committed to providing the services needed by all students to support their educations.
Through the Office of Financial Aid, students are able to seek funding to pursue their educational goals. Students and their families are invited to work with OFA staff, who provide advice, process information, and coordinate the awarding and delivery of funds. The university is committed to provide quality service in a fair, sensitive, and confidential environment to all students.
The Office of International Student Affairs offers confidential counseling on financial matters for international students.
The American Physical Society is committed to the inclusion of members of groups historically underrepresented in physics and has spent decades working on programs to increase the recruitment and retention of African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, and women in the field. The APS provides a number of scholarships to undergraduate students.
The Department of Physics also has a limited number of awards and scholarships available to outstanding undergraduate students.
