To receive your university identification card (i-card), you must go to the ID Center, which is located on the first floor of the Illini Union Bookstore. All students, faculty, and staff of the University of Illinois are required to obtain an i-card.
You may not obtain an i-card until you have completed your NESSIE forms and your appointment has been processed by the payroll system. Denise Donnelly (Room 203 Loomis) can tell you if your appointment has been processed.
Take a photo ID (driver's license or passport) to the ID Center to have your i-card produced or replaced.
What do I do if my I-Card is lost or stolen?
If you believe your i-card has been lost or stolen, contact the Urbana-Champaign ID Center immediately. There is a $20 replacement fee for lost cards. Stolen cards should also be reported to campus police at (217) 333-8911.
