Cosmic Violence: Exploding Neutron Stars and Collapsing Black Holes

The program is designed for high-school students, and open to the general public (including teachers, parents, siblings, etc.), so students may participate as a class, individually, or with their families. Prior knowledge of physics, astronomy, or computing is not necessary. The program is administered by astrophysicist Professor Susan Lamb.
Registration requested. All are welcome. However, for planning purposes, we would appreciate it if those intending to participate could register with us at least two days before each session. (We can accommodate extra, last-minute attendees in the lecture theater but we might run out of the pre-lecture snacks!)
The programs are free of charge.
